James Morgan is a founding partner of California elder abuse law firm Lanzone Morgan, LLP and has dedicated more than two decades to advocating for victims of elder abuse. A career-long champion for the underdog, his focus has always been on individuals and families harmed by corporate misconduct.
A graduate of Jacksonville State University and Washburn University School of Law, James is licensed to practice law in California, Arizona and Nevada, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He later served as president of a national organization of attorneys dedicated to holding nursing homes accountable for elder abuse and neglect.
Before co-founding Lanzone Morgan, LLP in 2008, James built a strong reputation for his skill in litigating cases against long-term care facilities and for his deep compassion toward the elderly and their families. His leadership has helped shape the firm’s mission of restoring dignity and justice for elder abuse victims who suffered from fall injuries, bedsores, and more. Known for his unwavering loyalty, integrity, and ability to inspire others, James continues to set a high standard of advocacy driven by his lifelong belief that everyone deserves a voice, especially those who cannot speak for themselves.
